Heart cake

Chloe loved Hello Kitty, so for her 2nd birthday I made this Hello Kitty inspired heart cake. All the decorations were fondant except the candle of course! I loved this cake and it was so easy to decorate!!!!

She is such a happy, spunky girl! Oh I miss those cute chubby baby cheeks!!!!

This is how we do party's pizza and cake!

Unicorn Cake

For Chloe's 3rd birthday she wanted a unicorn cake. This cake was inspired by all the bright candy cakes out in the pintrest world. I also felt inspired by my childhood love of Lisa Frank, so I wanted to make the blue chocolate drip to look like melted crayons, and of course I used bold colors! I went to a local candy shop and picked up the huge lollipops, which my kids of course loved. This cute little unicorn I ordered online. The great thing about toys on a cake is not only that you don't have to make a decoration, but they also are a present your kid can keep to remember the cake by! See great justification for taking the easy road ;)

The party was held in a community room in our apt. complex which is why the background is not so great!

Yes I know my phone camera was horrible! Sorry for such low quality pics!! I'm loving my new one hopefully you can tell the difference with my newer posts!! And here is my cute bunny standing with her cake!💖💖💖💖💖💖

Chocolate Drip Easter Cake

This decadent Chocolate cake was iced using my families secret penuche frosting and drizzled with a semi-sweet chocolate ganache. I then topped the cake with Cadbury Cream Eggs, buttercream roses and some left over sugar flowers I used on another project. I finished it off with chocolate chips around the bottom, and the results were scrumptious!!!

Elegant Strawberry cake with White Chocolate Decor

This is a cake that I made for a silent auction. The proceeds went to help families in need during the holidays. I love this cake! It was fairly easy to frost with this delicious strawberry buttercream and the precarious white chocolate designs turned out better than I expected!

Fairy Cake

I know these posts aren't in chronological order, but well that's just how it goes sometimes! This is my oldest's first birthday cake. The little plastic fairy was from my baby shower and I thought it would be sweet to create a cake around it. I also love fairies so it was a fairly easy choice.

This was one of the first cakes that I made. At the time I didn't have a cake board, so I covered a cookie sheet pan with foil as my base....classy I know! I've learned so much over the years, it really has been a fun, messy ride!

Aside from the fairy all the decorations are made from Fondant
